How does this work?
Websites request data from you, such as a username and email address. Your username can be different for each site. Simple acts like changing your email address require the user to change it with every site. Not all sites will be updated, and data becomes stale and invalid over time. IDserver enabled websites request data from one source, the identity server. You have the option of sharing other pieces of information with websites. It is a trusted relationship between idserver and websites, as well as between idserver and you. Best of all, there is only one login to manage. |
